In my 20 years' worth of experience I've seen how markets actually work from the inside, and I've seen how overwhelming it can feel from the outside.
I also spent years studying poker at a high level. That might sound unrelated, but poker taught me something that changed how I think about investing: it's not about being right every time. It's about making good decisions with incomplete information, managing risk, and letting probability work in your favor over time.
